One of the greatest features of the Cool Shield containment system is the versatility and adaptability offered by the unique mounting channel. This proprietary design allows our engineers to create several aisle containment door options including hinged, sliding and swing doors. Many customers prefer the aesthetic of a door solution compared to overlapping vertical strips.

Single or double hinged doors can be configured to accommodate nearly any aisle width. Single doors have a standard width of 36" and double doors are 48" wide. However, we can create 'side lights' on one or both sides of the door(s) to extend the containment to the actual width of the aisle.

A sliding door works well when there is a space constraint since there is no door swing. The standard Cool Shield sliding door is a single slider. Using a single sliding door makes sense for the following primary reasons. 1) A better seal-it is often difficult to properly seal double doors that come together. 2) Only required to cover one side panel-less potential obstructions and less material required. 3) Easier to lock-door comes together against a fixed support which is easier to integrate locking mechanism rather than two moving doors.

Swing doors are our newest door offering. Our cost effective design can make the swing door solution an alternative to vertical strips. Special hinges allow doors to swing in both directions. Door inserts can range from flexible pvc to FM4910 approved clear panels. Single doors up to 36" and double doors in 48", 60" and 72" aisles are available.
