Fill blank filler panels are uniquely designed to install and
uninstall without the use of any tools. Their ¼ turn
captive design makes installation quick and easy with no fumbling
with cage nuts or screws. Just set it in the square hole rails
(3/8 square) and rotate the head a ¼ turn. Available in 1U, 2U,
4U and 8U sizes for 19” rack mount. Reduce installation
time and cost by up to 80%.
Blanking panels have proven to be an effective and cost effective method
for improving cooling efficiency in the data center.
The majority of servers bring air in from the front and
exhaust air from the back. It
is recommended to expose the front of the servers to cool air to
keep operating temperatures down. Blanking
panels cover the rack spaces that are empty to keep the cooled air
at the front of the cabinet and prevent exhausted warm air from
recalculating to the front.
