BayTech RPC
Scalable Remote Power Control and Management

| BayTech has a modular approach to providing remote
control of rack level power in the data center.
The RPC Series models allow for remotely turning on, turning off or
rebooting individual power receptacles. Authorized users
can save resources and downtime by controlling the power source
to attached hardware across a network connection. RPC PDU's
connect to a scalable line of IP Controllers (DS Series) for network
accessibility. Authorized administrators can connect to the controller via HTML, Telnet,
SNMP, dial-up or the powerful Global Power Management (GPM) software. |

Once connected to the controller, any attached
PDU can be monitored and controlled. RPC's are available in several horizontal and rack mount sizes ranging from
6 to 21 receptacles. Choose the appropriate amperage and voltage to match the feed to your cabinets. A selection of controllers are available to accommodate anywhere from 2 to 32 PDU's.
Controllers are scalable to allow for growth planning.
The BayTech approach has a couple of significant advantages over direct connect intelligent PDU's. First, serial PDU's are considerably less expensive than intelligent PDU's since they do not have an Ethernet card. Second, IP addresses are conserved since only the controller is a network device. Typically, an entire row of cabinets can be served from a single controller.
