Rack Mount Cabinets with Active Cooling

An increase in power requirements will generate a
proportional increase in heat. Greater densities and more powerful
systems have driven up the power requirements in server cabinets.
In some instances, the heat generated is more than the existing room air
conditioning can handle. The option becomes increase the cooling
capacity of the room or add cooling at the rack level. Although,
more costly than standard racks, cooling cabinets can be a huge cost
savings compared to retrofitting the cooling of an entire room.
