Cool Shield Plenum is an air barrier to block or channel CRAC unit supply or return air to maximize cooling efficiency. The plenum rated material easily
attaches to the support structure of either the floor or ceiling
plenum. The lightweight blanket like material can bend to any
angle to conform to nearly any configuration. It can be easily
cut to size and to allow penetration of piping or cable trays.
The Cool Shield Plenum is specifically designed to be located
within fire rated return air plenums areas by preventing flame
propagation and smoke development. The material is also an
excellent insulator for further cooling efficiency.
Material ships in 25 foot rolls with plenty of fasteners to
secure to vertical supports. Fasteners feature adhesive to allow
positioning where ever needed. Also included is a roll of
UL rated aluminum tape to seal any edges that may need to be
cut.
